The topography of Fansipan is varied. Muong Hoa Valley, at the lowest altitude (950 to 1 000m), is created by a narrow strip of land at the base on the east side of the mountain. It can be climbed in a steep and fairly strenuous hike.

Fansipan or Fan Si Pan is a mountain in Vietnam, the highest in Indochina, at 3 143 m. It is located in the Lào Cai province in Northwest Vietnam, 9 km southwest of Sa Pa Township in the Hoang Lien Son Mountain Range. Fansipan is dubbed "the Roof of Indochina"; it is to be approved as one of the very few ecotourist spots of Vietnam, with about 2,024 floral varieties and 327 faunal species.
Night 1 : Hanoi - Laocai (Overnight on the train)
Pick up at your hotel and transfer to Hanoi Railway Station for the night train at 21:15 PM to get to Laocai Station. Sleep on the train.

Day 1: Sapa trek – 2,700 m of altitude
Picked up at Laocai Station by bus then transfer uphill to Sapa town (round 8.30 AM). Breakfast and start the trip to conquer the roof of Vietnam and Indochina - Fansipan peak. At about 9h30 AM, take jeep to silver waterfall, Tram Ton pass - from this highest pass in Vietnam, starts the strenuous climb to the peak. 8 hours through primitive forest, many small streams and bamboo forests…reach the top of 2,700m, make tents, and prepare for dinner. This is the 1st night for travelers, guide and porters to seat friendly close to each others beside the fire to enjoy the tasty moment that all have once in the life of experience.

Day 2: 2,700 m – Fansipan peak - Sapa - Hanoi (sleep on the train)
Have breakfast then a hard climb heads up to the top the summit. At the top you will be the vanquisher. Take your time to enjoy yourself, take pictures and your lunch then descend the same way or take another way to go down to the foot of the mountain and take a jeep back to Sapa town, bus transfer to Lao Cai Railway Station, have dinner then take the night train back Hanoi.

Night 1 : Hanoi -Laocai ( Overnight on the train )
Pick up at your hotel and transfer to Hanoi Railway Station for the night train at at 9:30 PM to get to Laocai Station. Sleep on the train.

Day 1 : Laocai -Sapa ( 1600m ) - Camp 1 ( 2200m )
Picked up at Laocai Station by bus to Sapa (round 8.30 AM). Breakfast and start the trip to conquer the roof of Vietnam and Indochina - Fansipan peak. At about 9h30 AM, take bus to the highest pass in Vietnam - TramTon Pass located at 2100m above the sea level (17 km by bus). Visit Silver waterfall before reaching the pass. Spend your time enjoying marvelous nature and then start the strenuous trek to the peak. After roughly 6 hours through the primitive rain jungles, many small streams and bamboo forests. You will have managed to reach a top of 2200m and at this point, set up tents, prepare for dinner and spend the first night in the mountain.

Day 2 : Camp 1 to the Summit of Fansipan ( 3143m )
Breakfast at the camp and then continue climbing to the summit by way of pine and yellow bamboo forests. After 4 hours, you will successfully conquer the roof of Vietnam. Spend 1/2 or 1 hour enjoying the splendid landscapes from around the mountain, at this virginal roof of Vietnam and Indochina is a specious chance for you to enjoy watching the surroundings: to the North-West is small village areas belonging to Laichau province, the splendid rolling mountains; to the North East is the overall picture of Sapa town which is only seen from here . Have lunch and then trekking down to the same point for 2nd night in the mountain. Dinner at the tents.

Day 3 : Camp 1 ( 2200m) to Sapa - Laocai - Hanoi ( Overnight on the train )
After the last breakfast in the mountain, take another way to go down to the foot of Mount where to visit and get understandings of the lifestyles, the traditional customs of the people in a village of the Black H'mong called SinChai, then take bus back to Sapa (18 km by bus). Lunch and
Free to explore Sapa town. In the afternoon , transfer to Laocai Station for the night train to Hanoi. Overnight on the train.

Trekking through a beautiful nature of the highest mountain in Vietnam. The climbs do not demand high technical skills of the climbers.
Fansipan is Vietnam's highest peak located in the far north just outside of Sapa. Fansipan a very steep mountain that gets a lot of moisture. Those looking to climb it should be in good shape and prepared to to have muddy wet feet The scenery is incredible remember to bring a camera. For most of Vietnam having a rain coat is a little excessive because it is so warm. On the mountain having a rain coat is not a bad idea especially at night. The trails around Sapa are a lot of fun.
Night 1: HANOI - LAO CAI (Overnight on the Train)
At 20:00. Hotel pick-up then transfer by taxi to Ha Noi railway station for a night train SP1 at 21:15 to LAO CAI station. Overnight stay on the Train

Day 1: LAO CAI - SAPA - FANSIPAN (B/L/D)
From Sapa we travel by jeep, stopping at Thac Bac (Silver Waterfall) before going through Tram Ton pass. From here we start our trek through the National Park and to the campsite situated at a level of 2,200 metres. The trek today goes both up and down hill - good preparation for the steep climb tomorrow. At the campsite a simple but hearty dinner is prepared by the porters and a local guide and we sleep overnight in a tent.

Day 2: FANSIPAN - PEAK - SAPA (B/L/D)
After a warm-up breakfast, it is time to conquer the Fansipan summit. The climb is steep and challenging. taking approximately 5 hours and reaching an elevation of 3,143 metres. At the peak ? the roof of Indochina ? there are rewarding views, even on cloudy days. There is a short break before starting trekking down to the campsite to collect our equipment and then a different route through the National Park to Sin Chai village where our jeep awaits to bring us back to Sapa town in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight in hotel in Sapa..

Day 3: SAPA - HANOI (B/L/-)
Free day to explore Sapa town. PM : Afternoon bus transfer to LaoCai railway station for night train back to Hanoi at 20:15
